Three 1 Hour Sessions:
First Session
Review performance piece, analyze music/song lyrics, create backstory, begin discussion on characterization.
Third Session
Work on performance, solidify character choices, and make any adjustments necessary.
Second Session
Review backstory and characterization, begin incorporation of character work and emotion into choreography.

Dancers and troupes looking for a competitive edge work with Lainie Ventura. Using award-winning techniques culled from her 25 years as a professional television and film actress. Lainie shows dancers how to better connect with the music and story behind their choreography. Her process incorporates physical movement with the emotional backstory of the lyrics, bringing a heightened depth and richness to the stage performances of all genres.
A private as well as a group coach, Lainie works with dancers of all ages. She can be brought into the process of any stage of the piece’s development, as well as work with performers onsite, helping them turn the adrenaline of competition into enhanced movement and expression.
Lainie’s background as a competitive gymnast and dancer gives her a first hand understanding of the importance of the artist’s emotional connection with their music.
Lainie’s coaching success is built upon her years of teaching at her acting school, “The Actors’ Rec Room, LLC.” Lainie’s professional credentials include roles in “Bull” and “The Sinner,” in addition to decades of film and commercial work for numerous brands. Including but not limited to: Tide, Pizza Hut, KFC, Clairol Herbal Essence, and more. Her work as a voiceover artist rounds out her professional skills making her a local presence with a world of experience.
